Singapore Zoo

Having visited Singapore Zoo several times I still enjoy the time spent there.
Singapore Zoo covers approx 27 hectares and backs on to a large water reservoir. The Zoo is heavy forested and at times it feels like you are in the rain forest when a mist descends upon the zoo. It also makes it a very humid visit !
Next to the zoo is the Night Safari which has a separate entrance and opening times. The Night Safari allows the visitors to see the noctornal animals grazing and other animals sleeping.
At the moment the zoo is preparing for the arrival of 2 pandas from China. The pandas will arrive in August and will have 3 months to adapt to their new home. A new River Safari exhibit is being built and will open late this year and this is where you will view the Pandas from.
Singapore Zoo allows you to get up close to the many animals on show and animals such as the orangutans which roam freely in the trees above you and is quite fun to watch.
