Orchid Extravaganza

Over 18,000 orchids have been incorporated in a display at the Flower Dome at Singapore's Gardens By the Bay . The orchids are on show till the middle of September and also feature competition orchids from one of Singapore's Orchid societies.
The display features over 40 different species of orchids and the centre piece of the display is a walk - through 10-metre tall orchid kaleidoscope.
The floral display is designed by award-winning Japanese landscape architect Jun-ichi Inada and features Japanese elements in the design.
